GIRL PLANET
1998

The Steamtrain's First Recording. A classic, recorded by the boys themselves. This one is from the days before Joe and Ken joined the band. It's a little more lo-fi and a little more personal. Most of the songs are still a big part of the Steamtrain's live shows.

Featuring: Last Week - Girl Planet - Cynical Mayor's Son - Before I Come - Two Of A Kind - Waste Of Time

PAPA NEZ: A LOOSE SALUTE TO THE WORK OF MICHAEL NESMITH
Dren Records 2001

An honor to pay tribute to a great musician and innovator, we were lucky enough to be able to record the beautiful song: Joanne. Recorded mostly at Ning's studio. The vocals were recorded and the record was mixed by Scott Coar and Joe. Special bonus, this track features the pedal steel guitar by none other than our beloved sound-guy and former Scud Mountain Boy, Bruce Tull!

OASIS ALTERNATIVE VOLUME 8
Oasis Cd Records 2001

Another honor, as our song, A Rite For The Innocent You, was chosen for the opening track of this cd. Not bad considering there are copies of this floating around out there in radio stations all across the country.

NORTHAMPTON MUSIC FESTIVAL 1999
Strong Ave Records 2000

Misty Paradise is situated right between two of the area's best, The Maggies and The Ware River Club on this cd that also features our video for Misty Paradise as well as a pretty funny picture of Lord Russ in the enhanced part and a nice shot of Brian playing with The Figments on the cd insert.

NORTHAMPTON MUSIC FESTIVAL 1998
Strong Ave Records 1999

Last Week leads off this cd, and is followed by great tunes by most of Northampton's best bands. This town is an incredible little oasis of creativity and we are grateful to have found it. We have been nurtured in its supportive and challenging music scene.
